We are offering a safe, co-horted, engaged and active summer camp.  We will have 15 children per room with dedicated space and resources.  We will provide activities that are fun, energetic and spend a lot of time outside in our spacious fields.
Your children's health is our first priority.  We will be following all of Alberta Health's Personal Protective Equipment requirements, daily and weekly sanitization between cohorts.
Cost: 290/week, reduced cost on Week 3 & Week 8
Hours of Care: 8am -4pm

Week 1 June 15-19  Summer Camp Science
Test Tube Lava Lamps, Bubbling Potions, Color Changing Liquids, An Electron Party, Bubble Bouncing,Things to Fling, Fly, Twist and Drop, Water Magic and Much More

Week 2 June 22-26  Camping at Camp
Creating your own personalized camp site, how to find what you need, how to read the weather and be prepared for a hike, camping challenges and races!  We will also explore the indigenous cultures of Calgary and surrounding area.

Week 3 June 29- July 3 (STAT July 1 CLOSED)  Canada Rocks!
Celebrating our Canadian Heritage in the first part of our week ,but also looking at the geology of Canada in the 2nd part of the week and getting up close and personal with some amazing rocks, gemstones and minerals. 

Week 4 July 6-10 We Heart Calgary
We love our city and want to celebrate it with you!  We will be doing a food drive to give back to our city.  From the Stampede to Stampeders to the Flames, the fun doesn’t stop there, we will develop our own chuckwagons and YAHOOOO our way in our own mini Stampede.

Week 5 July 13-17 MACH 1
Multi Adventure Challenge We will have a color run, obstacle courses, a slackline, stealth, physical agility and strength, both physical and mental are important components for you to  master.

Week 6 July 20-24 Featured Creatures
Pets, bugs, dinosaurs, mythical creatures, under the sea, space the final frontier, rockets and the circus?  What strange aliens will we find in the flora and fauna of our surrounding area?  Fossil making, bone preservation and even inventing our own creatures!

Week 7 July 27-31 Making It Greener
Our natural world is important and reducing/reusing is important to our lives.  We will explore the idea of free-cycling, upcycling and contributing to our natural world, bug hotels, butterfly feeders, upcycle fashions, DIY lip balms, all purpose cleaners and a lunch free of disposables. We will teach you how to be a thoughtful consumers.

Week 8 Aug 4-Aug 7 (STAT Aug 3 CLOSED) Extraordinary Mash-Up Week
Medieval times, Harry Potter, Jumanji, Star Wars and MARVEL-ous...jousting, fencing, magic and dragons.  It will be spectacular!

Week 9 Aug 10-Aug 14 Art Appreciation Week
We will explore the variety of art from the Masters to Modernists.  You will experience art projects and participate in an art class hosted by Robin, our in-house Calgary artist.  There will also be art challenges that require your physical prowess.

Registration requests are time stamped and prioritized.  We will send you a registration package via email within 1-3 business day of your request. 

Your requested spot(s), if available, will be held for 48 hours from the time a full registration package is sent to you. 

A fully completed registration package guarantees registration.

We will be taking NEW registrations/wait list for all schools on July 1, 2020 with the understanding that we will not be able to guarantee care until closer to September 2020 as we understand the Calgary Board of Education & Calgary Catholic School District's  COVID 19 response and needs for within the school setting. 

We appreciate your understanding as we move forward and anticipate changes in information over the summer.

Thank you for your support from near and far.

As the month comes to a close and summer camps are well underway, we have had many questions regarding what is happening in the fall.  We are hopeful, that we will resume service with appropriate COVID-19 procedures in place.  On August 1, 2020 we will have more information in defining what our capacity and use of space looks like.

We are opening our doors on June 15, 2020 for summer camps at Glamorgan Community Association, 4207 41 Avenue SW.  Limited spaces available due to capacity reductions. COVID-19 policies and procedures in place to protect children, educators and families.

April 30, 2020

Premier Kenney introduced the Alberta Re-Launch strategy this afternoon.  We are in what is called the current phase and we will be approaching Phase I on May 14, 2020 provided that modelling remains the same as anticipated. 

Schools are closed until the end of August 2020.  We are waiting to hear from the Minister of Children's Services for further direction.
